BE/B Tech for Engineers or Even Diploma (Detailers/Drafters)
Knowledge, skills and abilities required:
- Experienced in Design of the scaffolding including weight limitations, height, scaffold type, fall protection, 100% tie-off, bracings supports, etc.
- Design of all types scaffolding like Drawing scaffold, tower scaffold, birdcage scaffold, mobile scaffold, independent scaffold, hanging scaffold, Load bearing & cantilever scaffolding etc.
- Proficient with scaffolding design and load calculations using both Manual based calculations and structural analysis software (STAAD-PRO) as per Operational Guidance NASC TG 20:13 with the use of BS EN 12811-1:2003, BS EN 12811-2, BS 5973 standards
- Familiar with material specifications like BS 1139 specification of tube and fittings BS 2482 for specification of boards.
- Production of scaffolding design drawings using AutoCAD
- Knowledge in reading Architectural, Structural Drawings Civil & MEP & prepare Scaffolding drawings.
- Draw maps, plans, diagrams, detailed drawings, Create Profiles required for construction projects.
- Knowledge in HSE / QAQC standards in Construction Industry related to Scaffolding
